The guidance suggests that offices, factories, schools, workplaces and spaces with high levels of activity should all have a means of monitoring indoor CO2 levels. The regulations provided requirement information on what exactly a CO2 monitor should be able to do.

The monitor should:

Directly measure CO2, not provide an estimated CO2 level based on a different factor.

Be able to measure as low as 400ppm to over 5,000ppm

Be calibrated to ensure accurate readings

The indoor air quality monitor does all this and more. The EL-IOT-CO2 monitor’s carbon dioxide (CO2), temperature and humidity, continuously recording these parameters to provide users with the current, minimum and maximum reading in its bright and clear digital display. The EL-IOT-CO2 has a CO2 measurement range of 0 to 40,000ppm exceeding the minimum measurements and to maintain the accuracy of the device there are two calibration features. Automatic self-calibration ensures long-term stability without the need for any manual action from the users. Or manual recalibration can be carried out to restore the accuracy of the CO2 reading by exposing the EL-IOT-CO2 to fresh air either by placing it outside or next to an open window.

Users can even set their own high and low alert levels for each parameter, meaning if the temperature, humidity or CO2 levels go above or below your set limits, a notification is sent to the user’s email or phone via SMS alert.

Thanks to the device’s Cloud connectivity, the EL-IOT-CO2 also automatically uploads all recorded data to the Cloud, allowing your complete set of data measurements to be viewed, analysed and downloaded from any internet-enabled device.

Purchase yours now

Monitoring the CO2 levels inside became increasingly important since the updated Building Regulations were released in June 2022.
